Café de la Bourse is a partner of NextWise’s Next Challenge for the second year in a row. This asset management competition, designed as a real educational journey, takes place from October 9, 2023 to April 18, 2024. Who is NextWise, the fintech behind the Next Challenge?
NextWise is a FinTech founded in 2019 by Roxana Hakimi-Tabrizi and Aldo Sicurani, in which the Federation of Individual Investors and Investment Clubs (F2iC) is a shareholder. Nextwise’s financial education platform offers a highly educational approach to investing.
Following the success of the previous two editions of the Next Challenge, Next Wise is repeating the formula in 2023-2024 and held its launch night on October 2, 2023 at Paris Dauphine-PSL University.

What is NextWise Next Challenge?
The Next Challenge is more than just a stock market competition. This is a real wealth management competition that runs over 6 months, from 9 October 2023 to 18 April 2024. It is open to all students. NextWise provides a platform for participants in French and English to participate individually or as a team.
Participants will find content on the platform that will allow them to strengthen their financial knowledge, including in particular stock analyzes from the Café de la Bourse, in order to implement the best possible portfolio management.
It is possible to participate in the Next Challenge as an individual or in teams by creating an investment club of 5 to 7 members.
While those who want to participate as individuals benefit from a fictitious €50,000, those who want to work as a team are entrusted with virtual portfolio management of €200,000.
Participating investment clubs must take the form of a management company, whose statutes must be respected. For example, students will have to set an investment policy or define their investment world in advance.
Participants in the NextWise Next Challenge are judged on quantitative criteria for the portfolio and its management, such as volatility, level of risk, but also diversification or rebalancing, as well as qualitative criteria, such as teamwork. , communication within the group, their ability to answer questions or doubts about their strategy or even their creativity.
This asset management competition is punctuated by various challenges that allow students to increase the value of their portfolio by earning a virtual reward or earning additional points. We can name Video Pitch, Pitch Battle or Quiz in particular.
