(BFM Bourse) – The software publisher postpones its IPO on the A section of the regulated market Euronext Paris, citing difficult market conditions.
A big storm about what should be the biggest transaction on Euronext Paris in two years! Planisware announced this Wednesday afternoon its decision to postpone its IPO on Euronext Paris. The software publisher cites difficult market conditions.
“Since announcing our intention to go public, we have been continually encouraged by the level of engagement and interest investors have shown in our IPO,” said Pierre Demonsant, co-founder and president of Planisware.
“The market environment has deteriorated recently, prompting investors to exercise extreme caution. With our shareholders and all of our employees mobilizing alongside us, we have decided to postpone our IPO project. We remain firmly committed to pursuing our goals and our history of growth.” and value creation”, continues the manager.
Valuation of more than 1 billion euros
Planisware was preparing its entry into Section A of Euronext Paris – reserved for the largest capitalization exceeding €1 billion – which has not seen any new entities since October 2021 from OVH Groupe, the European leader in cloud computing.
On Monday, October 2, the company opened the possibility for the general public and institutional investors to participate in its IPO on the regulated market of Euronext Paris. The software publisher thus sought a valuation between 1.1 and 1.25 billion euros after the operation, which was carried out exclusively in the form of the sale of securities.
Planisware shares were offered in a price range between 16 euros and 18 euros. Individuals had until 10 October 2023, i.e. yesterday evening, to place their orders, institutional investors could participate in this operation until 11 October, i.e. until 13:00 this Wednesday.
Planisware was due to take its first steps on Euronext Paris on Thursday “on a pre-issue basis”, then on Monday 16 October under the ticker line “PLNW” and ISIN code FR001400L0H5.
